International Conference "Mobile. The Other Way For Online Learning"
On Wednesday 3 December, Bologna hosted the international conference "Mobile. The Other Way For Online Learning" (http://mobilelearning.greenteam.it), promoted by Green Team IT Solutions, organized in collaboration with SELF PA, the federated e-learning system of the Emilia-Romagna Region, and under the patronage of the University of Bologna.
The central topic of interest was Mobile Learning, understood as a new training paradigm based on the use of mobile communication technologies, and for this reason capable of being widespread, continuous and multi-channel.
This app contains the contributions of the conference speakers, both in the form of presentations and video content. Among the participants in the event we find: the American Chad Udell, creator of the Float Mobile Learning project and author of sector publications, will illustrate how to use mobile devices and applications to integrate "traditional" training in the classroom or classroom; Andrew Dones, also from the United States, will reflect on how to rethink learning systems with the Tin Can API, a fundamental reference model for the creation of e-learning projects, drawing on his many years of experience in their design; with Stefano Maruzzi, author of the recent volume "The End of the Era of Good Sense", we will instead look at the future, to get an idea of the challenges that await those involved in distance learning, and the inefficiencies that need to be removed to better deal with them; to Valentina Piccioli, training designer for Docebo, leader in Italy in the field of e-learning, who chaired one of the three practical sessions on mobile learning, scheduled during the third and final part of the conference, also bringing the results of recent research on the subject.
